Browser testing & automation

From a browser check
to a repeatable suite.

Validate important web journeys across an agreed browser and operating-system matrix. We help connect existing automation, configure execution environments, and bring useful evidence back to your release workflow.

Build coverage
around what users do.

Start with the browsers, journeys, and application states that matter to your product. Browser access, test authoring, execution, and analysis are separate parts of a successful workflow.

01 /

Interactive browser testing

Explore key pages, responsive layouts, and browser-specific issues. Confirm browser and OS requirements, then capture the steps and environment needed to reproduce a finding.

  • Login and navigation journeys
  • Forms, rendering, and responsive checks
  • Staging and authenticated pages
02 /

Existing automation suites

Bring your current framework and scripts. We can scope runner configuration for tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Puppeteer, including dependencies, waits, and test-data setup.

  • Smoke checks and full regression
  • Browser and viewport targets
  • Setup, assertions, and cleanup
03 /

Controlled browser sessions

For scripted workflows or agents that operate a browser, define session state, permitted targets, authentication, and the evidence needed to verify the actions taken.

  • Clean or preconfigured session state
  • Private-environment access planning
  • Screenshots, logs, and trace capture
Orchestrate the work

A run is more than
a trigger.

Our consultants help configure execution around your suite and infrastructure. Concurrency, dependency handling, retries, and reporting should reflect the tests and the agreed capacity.

01

Establish a baseline

Run a representative suite in one environment. Validate commands, dependencies, data, and expected outcomes.

02

Define the run plan

Choose the coverage matrix, grouping, and permitted parallel execution. Keep tests independent where possible.

03

Connect to CI

Scope build triggers, environment preparation, result artifacts, and the rules that determine a successful run.

04

Investigate failures

Review application, runner, and environment evidence. Track unstable tests separately from confirmed product defects.

Evidence & handoff

Give a failed run
enough context.

Define the artifacts your tools should collect and where the team will review them. A pass count alone does not explain an untested path or an intermittent failure.

  • 01
    Execution context

Build, framework, browser and OS, viewport, target environment, and the suite configuration.

  • 02
    Failure artifacts

Relevant console or network output, screenshots, recordings, and traces supported by the chosen runner.

  • 03
    Review decisions

Reproduction steps, suspected causes to verify, retry outcomes, and any intentionally excluded coverage.

A checkout journey in a staging build.

Run the same test across the selected browser combinations using safe test data. On failure, review the request, assertion, and page state before deciding whether the issue is in the product or the test.

Input
An existing framework suite and staging access.
Execution
Known data, selected browser versions, and agreed CI triggers.
Handoff
Run evidence tied to the build, with reproducible defects and test-maintenance tasks.
A few useful answers

Before you get started.

Confirm the coverage, tools, and access your team needs when we scope the work.

Will we have to replace our test framework?

The first step is to review your current suite and dependencies. We scope the work needed to run it in the selected environment. A framework change is a separate decision when there is a clear reason for it.

Can you help with private or authenticated staging sites?

Yes, access planning can be included in the configuration engagement. We agree the connectivity, test identities, permissions, and data needed for the selected journeys.

Can tests run in parallel?

Parallel execution depends on the suite, available capacity, shared state, and tool configuration. We establish a baseline and review independence before agreeing concurrency.

Is browser infrastructure the same as an AI testing agent?

Browser infrastructure supplies the execution environment. An AI testing or browser-operating tool adds its own planning and control behavior. We can help scope that integration and the checks needed to verify its actions.
