Information we handle
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. We store a salted hash of your password, not the password itself. We also keep account creation and session records. When you purchase while signed in, we store the item, amount, currency, invoice and PayPal order references, payment status, and capture reference in your account history. For checkout, we record the date and version of your Terms acceptance and Privacy Policy acknowledgement, including when you check out as a guest.
PayPal processes payments. The card fields are provided by PayPal; we do not receive or store full card numbers or security codes. The name you enter on a card is submitted to PayPal for the payment. PayPal may provide us with transaction and payer details needed to process and reconcile a purchase. Our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP address, browser details, request times, and error logs to operate and protect the site.
The Contact Sales form is currently a browser-only prototype. Its contents are not submitted to or stored by Parallels Tech. Email us directly if you need to reach us.
How we use information
- To create and secure accounts, keep you signed in, and show your profile and purchase history.
- To create, process, and reconcile orders and respond to payment or account questions.
- To operate, troubleshoot, and protect the website and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.
We do not use the account flow to send marketing email at this time.
Service providers
We use PayPal to process payments and Railway to host the site and database. PayPal handles payment information under its own privacy notice. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive technical information when your browser requests those files. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users. We do not sell account or payment information through this website.
Cookies and security
The account feature uses a 30-day session cookie named pt_session. It is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and is marked Secure on the live site. You can clear cookies in your browser, which signs you out. We use reasonable technical safeguards, including password hashing and restricted session tokens, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Retention and choices
We keep account information while your account is active and retain transaction and agreement records as needed for payment reconciliation, dispute handling, and legal or tax obligations. Session cookies expire after 30 days unless you sign out sooner. You can update your name and password in your account. To request access, correction, or deletion of information where applicable, email us; some records may need to be retained.

We may update this notice as the site changes; the effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the site or another appropriate channel.
